Batchaser is a pure black tom with dark blue eyes and a dead left paw. He’s played by Painteh.

Information

Batchaser is the current deputy of DriftClan. Chosen under Sunstar’s rule, he continues to help out with patrols, battles, and attempts to offer emotional support. Batchaser is a pretty laid-back cat, and lets Sunstar handle most of the drama between Clanmates.

He has very few friends and struggles to be an impactful role model for the youngsters. His hotheaded and sarcastic nature can make him act very brash, which can in turn spark conflicts that wouldn’t have been there otherwise. Madly in love with Sunstar, Batchaser tries his best to calm down his anger and not completely traumatize his denmates with his emotionally abusive behavior. He also sticks close to Vixenfire, Raintail, Quakefeet, Vireopaw, and Fallenmist.

Parents

His father was Cedartuft (DC), and his mother was Finchcall (EC). They met at a gathering and Finchcall eventually joined DriftClan. She had Batkit and Aspenkit several moons later.

Siblings

Batchaser’s only sibling was Aspenpaw, who committed suicide around nine moons after birth.

Romantic Relationships

Batchaser’s first mate was Lynxbite (DC). She was physically and emotionally abusive towards him, but Batchaser didn’t end their relationship due to the fact that she was pregnant with his kits. She was carried off by an eagle later; it’s unknown whether this was suicide or not.

Batchaser is very much in love with Sunstar now.
