Appearance
Dankmist is a skinny long furred vantablack she-cat with deep amber eyes. She has a big scar from her forehead down to her nose as well as multiple tiny ones that are mostly hidden by her fur.
Personality
Dankmist is cold and sometimes rude when she first meets someone due to her past. Once she gets warmed up to certain cats she will become more friendly.
History
Rogue [1-18 moons]
Dank was Resuba and Humid’s first litter. Humid’s family followed a tradition where she-cats were named after the place they were born. Since she was born in a dark, musty cave Humid named her daughter Dank. Shortly after giving birth, Humid passed away due to shock. This devastated Resuba and he blamed Dank for being the cause of her death. He wanted to kill her but knew that Humid would want her daughter to keep living. Still grieving, he left and set out to find a she-cat who could nurse his daughter. He found Dawn, who had just lost her litter of kits due. He managed to get her to come back with him and take care of Dank until she didn’t need milk anymore.
One moon later Dank started to eat prey and Dawn left. Resuba taught Dank how to hunt and often took her with him when he hunted. When she would scare away prey, he would yell at her. When she was three moons old, he got fed up and attacked her. He scratched her from her forehead down to her nose. From there on, anytime she slightly messed up he would attack her.
When Dank was 12 moons old her father came back to the den one day with another rogue. He told Dank that she was the cat that had taken care of her as a kit. Resuba had come across her while hunting and, having missed her so much, brought her back. He told Dank that she was going to be his new mate. With Dawn around, Resuba stopped hitting Dank. Instead, he just ignored her. He would only talk to her to tell her to do something. Dank was responsible for hunting for all three of them. If she didn’t catch enough prey Resuba wouldn’t let her eat.
Eventually, Dank grew tired of being abused and mistreated. She left the den and set off to find somewhere else to live. Fortunately she left during Greenleaf so she had plenty of prey and warm weather. Shortly after leaving, she encountered a dog who injured her. Another cat named Blazing happened to be traveling through the area and found her. After a moon of recovery she left. Blazing had told her about groups of cats called Clans. Dank was planning on trying to find those cats and join one of the Clans. Several other cats she met on the way there pointed in the right direction.
After what felt like moons of traveling, Dank stumbled upon a cat. He introduced himself as Cougarstar, leader of TorrentClan. He explained to her that his Clan was going to war with another Clan, EclipseClan. If she were to come fight for his Clan she would be allowed to live in their camp and possibly join the Clan once the war was over. She happily agreed to fight for TorrentClan in the war against EclipseClan.
Apprentice [18 moons]
After the war was over, she was one of the only rogues to stay. Cougarstar accepted her into TorrentClan, naming her Dankpaw. Jaguarspots was to mentor her and teach her the Clan ways. Her mentor was tough on her because of her past as a rogue, but Dankpaw didn’t care. He taught her about the warrior code and the Shadow Forest. While she followed the Warrior Code, Dankpaw didn’t truly believe in the Shadow Forest. Soon after joining TorrentClan The Great Earthquake happened and sent the Clans on a journey to find a new home.
Warrior [19+ moons]
Dankpaw received her warrior name shortly after the Clans arrived at their new territories. Scarletstar named her Dankmist. There were some cats who disagreed with Dankmist being able to become a warrior because she was a rogue but, like with her mentor, Dankmist didn’t care. She continued to serve her Clan just like the cats who were born into it.
